Student services and support programs

Labrador State School prides itself on the range of valuable support services it offers to the school community.  We offer programs and services that just aren’t available elsewhere. Among the support services you will find:

  • Behavioural advisory team

    Labrador State School provides all students the opportunity to attend the Behavioural Advisory Team (BAT) Cave during break times which provides a friendly environment that is enjoyable to students and run by staff that can support student needs.

  • Chaplaincy program

    The chaplaincy program at Labrador State School provides spiritual support for the whole of the school community.

  • KidsMatter

    KidsMatter is a primary school mental health promotion, prevention and early intervention initiative.

  • Student welfare action team

    SWAT meet on a fortnightly basis and is concerned with identifying and assisting students needing learning, behavioural, physical, intellectual, auditory, visual, speech, language or emotional support.
