International Enrolments

Enrolment Requirements

When submitting your enrolment application, please complete our Enrolment Forms. In addition, you will also require: 

• Current passport with entry date stamp for the child
• Student's birth certificate (with English translation if available)
• Current visa for the child and parent(s)
• EQI Verification of Eligibility to Enrol (if required)
• Proof of payment of EQI fees (if required)
• Evidence to prove residency: 
• If an owner, this needs to be a rates notice 
• If a new land purchaser/house purchaser – A copy of your signed contract and a Statutory Declaration stating that you will be a occupying the house for a minimum of 6 months
• If a renter – A copy of your signed lease agreement which must be for a period of 6 months minimum 
• If residing with family or friends – A Statutory Declaration from the parent stating that you will be occupying the residence with your student, and a Statutory Declaration from the home owner confirming your occupancy, both signed by a Justice of the Peace
• If you have any other living situations please enquire as to the required proof of residency 

Education Queensland International (EQI)

The subclass on your visa will determine whether Education Queensland International (EQI) will charge a fee for the child to attend a school in Queensland. We recommend visiting the Education Queensland International website External link, and contacting an EQI agent to discuss your obligations.

Once you have paid any required fees, please provide proof of payment with your enrolment application. You will also need to provide a Verification of Eligibility to Enrol.

Next Steps

Our Deputy Principal will also be able to help you through the enrolment process, take you on a tour of the school and introduce you to the classroom teachers when you and your child enrol at Labrador State School. We have a strong Inclusion Team who are eager to assist your student with a successful transition into their studies.
